The Uptown slab cabinet door is a simple, 1-piece design constructed of a recycled wood substrate which is veneered, edge banded and finished on all sides.
It features plain-sawn Alder, a wood species prized for its subtle grain that creates visual interest without taking center stage. Our custom stain mutes the grain just enough to add depth and complexity, resulting in a look that is contemporary, stylish, and refined. Options for horizontal grain and matching across the run allow creative flexibility.

Alder is the top choice for custom stain or glaze application. These wood grain cabinet doors provide visual character without dominating the space. An opaque stain or glaze mutes the grain further, presenting depth and a smooth surface texture, a modern, upscale aesthetic.
Sequencing (grain matching across cabinet fronts) is standard for the slab door, ensuring presentation continuity.
All Kokeena doors arrive pre-bored, ready for installation on IKEA cabinet systems.
